Missed you a lot during my stay in Perth. I used to think that this might just last for a few days and I didn’t want to put too much hope in it. But you sticked on though I had to be away for a couple of days. And I really appreciate that.
It was definitely the first for me to experience a mutual relationship and understanding. Because of that, you are precious to me. The next 2 months will sure be challenging for me since I won’t be seeing you at all or at least till you recover (hopefully soon). Sometimes my insecurity will seep in and raise certain doubts. Well, the least I could do is probably to just trust you.
I want us to grow together, overcome obstacles together and accomplish tasks together because the journey ahead of us isn’t gonna be easy. I might not know your past relationships and history, but if you could just believe that I’m sincere about making this work, it’s good enough for me. No one’s perfect, so whatever mistakes I’ve made, I seek your patience in dealing with me.

Once, there lived a boy who was a hopeless romantic. All he ever wanted was to be hugged and loved. He swore to everything he could swear to that he will do whatever it takes to satisfy his hunger for security. Some call him desperate, others called him slut. Of course, he was upset. Because deep down, only he knows what he wants and no one else understands him - to love and to be loved.
There was one lonely night, he walked into a bar and sat down. He placed his shopping bags on the seat next to him. The bar wasn’t that crowded yet because it was early. The next thing that happened was one of the most treasured moments that he could ever carry in his life. A suave, dashing and cute-looking bartender approached him and asked him whether he wanted any drinks. Everything about him was so magical. His hair, his sparkling eyes, his rosy cheeks, lips and voice created a deep impression on him. He knew that after he ordered his drinks, he had to do something.
Later that night, he took all the courage he’s got and went up to the bartender who was busy attending to his customers. He typed the following message, “I think you’re cute. (:” The bartender immediately turned a little shy, but still maintaining composure and replied “Thank you.” And of course, he waved his killer smile at him. The boy took even greater courage and typed “Can I get a hug from you?” This time round, the bartender was a little speechless. He looked around and said, “Not today. There’re many people around.” The boy became a little upset. But the bartender told him that he will be here most of the time. That reassured the boy and he was happy.
The hopeless romantic hopped around and asked the other bartenders whether he was attached. Well, the next thing he got was a heartache. Something inside him broke. Emptiness gushed in and he felt teary. He was really depressed because he had never felt such a strong attraction towards anyone in this manner before. He thought to himself, “I will still hold that strong feeling I have towards him till he realises it. I don’t care how much his boyfriend likes him. The only thing that matters is that I think I like him more than anyone else.”
The following day, he looked at his picture and cried. He wanted to fulfill that longing. The desire to love and be loved. He felt that only the bartender could satisfy that emptiness in him. No doubt, the hopeless romantic really likes him a lot. And till now, he is still in the midst of crying and waiting for him to mend his broken heart so he can be happy once again.
And that hopeless romantic is no other than the author himself. D, if you’re reading this, I just want to say that I meant every single word I wrote. And I don’t think it’s just a crush. Although I don’t know much about you, I feel like I need you, in my life. Love, C. <3
